A young teenage girl walked through the door of the ice cream shop. She wasn't really in the mood for ice cream, she never had really possessed a sweet tooth. She had come in more out of curiosity. She had just moved here, with her brand new horse Bridgette. She was young, but on her own. With the money from donations and lots of hard work, she had managed enough for a horse and care. She was planning to get a job, of course. She was still working on that subject at the moment.
Madison Parker was her name. Sixteen years of bewilderment and a undying flame of passion for the world of horses. She had gotten here mostly out of stubborn decisions and dispositions. Not that Madison minded, stubborn was the best way to be in her opinion. In her stubborn opinion that she had treasured for awhile now.
Ms. Parker was dressed in subtle clothes as usual. She never was one to stand out. She wore a plain black t-shirt, with black sleeves running up a tiny bit past her elbows. She had plain blue jeans, and wore black, tattered old sneakers she had had for what seemed like thousands of years. Her dark brown gaze spotted another, curiosity getting the best of her, she started to wander hesitantly over. The other girl seemed to have concealed herself for unknown reasons.
Madison made it, and sat down across from her. "Hope I am not being rude, but just thought I'd come over and say hello. Hello. Well, you seemed all alone over here, and thought you might like some company. "

Madison simply nodded and smiled in return, brushing a hand through one of the blue sets of bangs in her dark brown hair. "By the way, my name is Madison, Madison Parker, " she stated almost bashfully. "I guess I forgot to say my name, kind of strange. I also have a nickname kind of thing. You could call me Maddie if it's easier for you. Anyways..." Madison's words seemed to break at the end, realizing she was sort of starting to babble, or monologue, whatever seemed more suitable. "Sorry, what is your name? I feel a bit impolite since I sort of just launched into some crazy conversation of sorts. Learning names is a good thing to start with, seeing as if you don't say something, I might just write a whole play with all of my senseless talking and such." She said the last part with a bit of a sarcastic tone. Madison looked, and watched as a smile could be seen on the girl's face. She became confused a moment, but shook it off, and awaited her answer patiently, crossing her legs at her heels, her black and white checkered sneakers full of grass-stains and no longer white shaded laces.

"Nice to meet you Nats. " Madison nodded, her brown gaze suddenly curious. "A horse whisperer? I've heard of a dog whisperer, but never a horse whisperer. What does a horse whisperer do? You must build special connections with horses and stuff, right? That's really cool. I have a horse, but I can't really talk to her. Well, I mean I can, but I can't seem to connect to her. She can be a bit distant sometimes I think. " Madison said, her ability to say whisperer slowly eroding the more she used it. It was kind of a confusing word to say, in her opinion. It sounded really cool, though. To be able to connect in different ways to the gentle giants. "You must be boarding around here then, right? I mean there are tons of stables here. " Madison stated, suddenly thinking of her own horse, Bridgette, wondering if she should start heading back to take care of her blanket appaloosa.

Madison simply nodded. "Oh, I see." She acknowledged another smile on Nats' face for a moment, then listened to her last statement. "Really? I'd certainly appreciate that. She's going to be a racehorse, someday I hope anyway. She is a bit sly, and a big tease as well..." Madison's words drifted again as she thought of her appaloosa mare. That horse was always up to something new, something thoroughly mischievous and usually something that gets her into trouble. A true troublemaker. "She has a lot of potential, I know that for sure. I just, don't understand her I guess. My Bridgette can be quite headstrong. I love her to pieces, but she only wants to listen to herself these days. I assume she had some kind of a horrible past or something. I can't tell, the person I bought her from wouldn't say much about it, that's just why I assume these things. She is gentle though, when she is in a good mood." Madison stated, picturing the mare in her mind. On a day when it wasn't too hot or cool, Bridgette could be even-tempered and easygoing. But sometimes...
